THE BIG NEWS
Now that it’s official - one of my two favorite bands, the Hold Steady, are playing the Gargoyle next semester!
In case you didn’t know, the Gargolye is exclusively student run (myself being one of those students). Anyways, I asked begged my friend Chiara in publicity to let me do the poster, and she agreed!
So basically, I get to work on a dream project for my favorite band, meet them, and ask them to sign my work!

But in all seriousness, stop by the Cherokee Print League Holiday Sale tomorrow for a chance to buy some of Dan’s work and check out the work of other St. Louis artists.
I love this piece by Patrick Leger.
Reminds me of old comic books/Jonny Quest, and I’m currently way into both of those things.
I found the amazing package design site The Dieline today and have been nerding out on the sweet designs they have.
This concept for Mockingbird Lager blew me away.
If someone asked me to live here, I would do so in a cocaine heartbeat.
I love ridiculous/awesome/ridiculously awesome architecture.
Weerez.com has the best rare Weezer mp3 archive in the universe, so it’s no surprise that they have these sweet covers performed by the UC Berkeley Marching Band back in 2001.
Here’s their cover of “Buddy Holly,” but if you’re a superfan like me, you’ll really enjoy the cover of “You Gave Your Love to Me Softly.” It’s mind-blowing.
