Well someone put together AN ENTIRE ALBUM OF 8-BIT WEEZER TRACKS.
...Whoa.
So the possibility of seeing Blink-182 and Weezer (which is pretty likely) when they come to St. Louis has raised the aweomse potential of this summer from colossal to GALACTIC.
This tour also has the potential to crush my spirit if it’s no good.
Homie - American Girls
This is the only song released by Rivers Cuomo’s side project Homie, and it is THE de facto summer jam.
INSANE 8-bit videogame sounding remix of what is possibly my favorite Weezer song.

The cover for Rivers Cuomo’s second album of demos, Alone II (due November 25th), came out, and it is nothing short of glorious.

I’ve been on a huge Weezer kick recently, so this news couldn’t have come at a better time. I’m so pumped.
Weerez.com has the best rare Weezer mp3 archive in the universe, so it’s no surprise that they have these sweet covers performed by the UC Berkeley Marching Band back in 2001.
Here’s their cover of “Buddy Holly,” but if you’re a superfan like me, you’ll really enjoy the cover of “You Gave Your Love to Me Softly.” It’s mind-blowing.
Spike Jonze to Direct New Weezer Video
This is awesome news. Spike Jonze is the king of music videos as far as I’m concerned, and Weezer is my favorite band, so I can’t wait to see what they can create together.
Spike directed Weezer’s videos for “Undone (The Sweater Song),” “Buddy Holly,” and the second version of “Island in the Sun.”
